Fairly recently under new ownership. In the process it has also had a refresh. It certainly hasn’t been ‘renovated’, just given a spruce up. So it has retained all its character.
In terms of beer its the full Fullers range, including seasonal specials. I guess it might be good to see perhaps one guest ale. For food, we went on a Sunday. There’s a great value deal for a roast with either a soup starter or crumble pudding. Quality of food was reasonable, certainly considering the price — the definition of value. On this evidence we would go back to try the main menu.
