I just love the name and what it implies — Home is everyone’s base and they sell it all here. From DIY stuff like hardware tools and plumbing supllies to furniture (indoor and outdoor) to timber («lumber» in American) and plants/flowers, there are even kitchen sections that have small appliances and dishware available.
Since I wasn’t really needing anything for my flat, I managed to escape only purchasing two small leafy plants and a set of plastic saucers to go under them. Trust me, it was a close call.
Bonus: Homebase is affiliated with Sainsbury’s, so you can get Nectar points on your purchases!
