Pierre’s makes the best baguettes in Reading and it shows. The shop is always very busy, usually with a sizeable queue out of the door but these baguettes are definately worth queuing up for. The baguettes are freshly baked and there is an enormous choice of fillings for you to mix and match your perfect baguette. God help Reading if Pierre’s ever closed.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM this place used to provide my staple diet when I went to school. It is just a simple sandwich place but they seriously have not left ANYTHING out of their filling selection, the cakes are amazing and the prices are dirt cheap, especially now that I can compare them to those of London. Basically, you go in(not at prime time lunch time because it gets hectic) and pick your bread and pick your filling. They kind of rush you, so don’t dilly dally. They expect you to be a regular and to know exactly what you want. I would reccommend going through the menu. Brie and Cranberry and Lettuce. Or, a very good one my friend who used to work there taught me… houmous, mango chutney and roast vegetables on wholemeal bread. AMAZING. The coffee is good too. All that for three pounds maximum. London should take some tips from Pierre’s.

Easily the best baguette shop in the whole world. There’s about 100 options and the baguette you get is normally enough to feed you for about a week! Love it — recommended
