They use fresh ingredients, not frozen meat, so you pay a little more than the other restaurants locally. I texted Sam(the owner’s son) at 16:00 on 28÷9÷13 for a table for 6 at 19:00. He confirmed straightaway, and it was ready when we got thee, and it was packed. There people coming impromptu, and were told there was a long wait, and they waited. One couple waited two hours, but didn’t complain as they could see the place was rammed. We left at about 21:00, and one of the waiters apologised for not getting the last drinks, and gave my wife a bottle of wine to take away, and the kids a huge handful of chocolates. We hadn’t complained, we could see how they were fixed. As we went to get the taxi, one of the other restaurants just a few doors away had about 10 people in, and looked quite empty. My wife’s used to have quite mild curries, but since going to Redolence her taste buds have ventured to the Chicken Tikka Balti, and chooses the hot option. Now graduated to Madras. The children enjoy the place too, and call one of the waiters«mum». The staff are extremely friendly. It is a place that deserves to be full all the time but I think it suffers from its location. I highly recommend the restaurant.
