The Whsmith in redditch is quite spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere to it. There is nearly always a queue though, they sell newspapers/​magazines, books, stationary, cigarettes, scratch cards, cds, dvds, games, etc. Therefore it is quite a popular shop. The staff at the redditch store are very friendly and helpful aswell.

This store cdan either be accessed from the street opposite the library, or from inside the kingfisher centre near specsavers and debenhams. Its a medium sized store, with books, cards, some games, and stationary. the layout if quite confusing and it can be hard to find help. They do have an ordering system. The till near the front into the centre is generally busy, so go to the one at the back for quick, easy payment.

This store seems to go on and on. the lighting is really bright and at times I would say harsh. there are a great selection of magazines and newspapers and they are always willing to order or reverse copies for you. the music section seems to have declined in recent years but I think that is like the industry as a whole. The staff are friendly and helpful. On a Saturday its really busy and they could sometines do with extra till staff.

I recently joined the Privilege Club online after receiving a leaflet at the tills from this store and I was then emailed some vouchers for money off in store. I was surprised and impressed when last weekend I used one of the vouchers on some childrens books which were already on the offer of buy one get one half price. They came to £12 and I asked about the voucher and the woman informed me that was not a problem so I got a further £5 off the total, thus only paying for one and a half books and getting 4! The staff are friendly and helpful. The store sells books and magazines at the front of the store, further back childrens books and stationery as well as music and dvds.
