I know that the point of these stores are to find bargains, but I always found going into this shop an absolute nightmare. Even if it was something they ultimately had, it took forever to find it, usually with the help of the often over-​stretched staff. Popping in on my own was fine if I was just trying to find one quick thing, but heaven forbid I had my pram with me – the doorway and shop are very pram-​unfriendly. When you finally found what you were looking for, usually it was of good-​enough quality (you didn’t really go in there looking for family heirlooms, after all), but often the amount you saved wasn’t worth the hassle of it all.
