One of my favourite pubs in Reigate. Take a hot summers afternoon, walk through the park, across the fields and come across this lovely pub which does great food, and quality ales on tap, with some good draft ciders also. Excellent!

I visited this place recently on my trip to UK. I colleague of mine took me there. First of all, let me tell you, it felt like I was driving to no man land… roads were really narrow. The place however doesn’t have the charm it used to have(as per my colleague). I loved two things about this place, one they allowed you to bring your pet, yes… If Jake was with me, I would be soooo happy to take him there, 2nd their ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce was awesome. I would love to visit it next time I’m there :)

I had the best roast beef Sunday lunch I have ever had out. Period. Cooked as I asked with Yorkies 3 veg and a colliflower cheese on the side. Good for hikers, well behaved dogs welcomed, and well behaved children also. Warm welcome for all. Great traditional pub seriously worth a vist.

I REALLY love this place. The building is deliciously old, immediately giving one a cosy feel, very nice in the winter, yet has seating almost all the way around it to enjoy the summer sun(when there is any, I hasten to add). It’s a bit hidden, down this road and that, so you have to know where it is to find it, which adds to its intimacy. The food is decent, although probably appreciated more after a nice long walk around Priory Park. It basically does pub grub, but does it well enough. What makes this pub special is its location, a wide range of beers, ciders, wines and spirits, and its cosy, age-steeped vibe.
