Wilkinson is a funny old shop, I’ve never really stopped to think just how handy it is.
I go in there at least once a week, mainly because it is the only place that I know that sells the biscuit of choice for my fussy little Pussy Cats, and I also have to admit to being addicted to their bags of onion rings, whilst Ange enjoys their line in sushi. One day I must ask someone who works there if there is much call for Japanese rice and fish based nibbles in Rochdale?
If it wasn’t for Wilkinson then I would very rarely, if ever go into the Wheatsheaf Centre, being as it is quite a desolate and depressing place, especially since T J Hughes went belly up, forcing mass suicides amongst Dunlop and Gola aficionado’s
A full grocery shop aside, there really is very little that you can’t get there which makes Wilkinson probably one of the handiest shops in this or any other town centre…

I can only agree with all previous reviews. Wilkinsons is very much the place to go for all your DIY stuff and loads more. prices are low, value is high and the stock range is wide. they sell everything from hammers to perfume to chocolate and pens! Highly recommended that you give the store a visit and check it out.

I have only recently started going in this shop — I was passing through after going to the library. It is like a general shop, better variety and quality than a pound shop, but not as good as a department store.
I started off buying brown paper and packaging, which was much cheaper than it’s rivals, but I also got all my Christmas chocolate from here. They sell toys, food, home goods, pet supplies and even paint and decorating stuff. They have two main banks of tills and also a customer service point. The staff have always been really helpful when I have needed assistance. I will definitely continue to shop there.
Parking is pay and display on the precinct car park.

wilkos is a very cheap
products, toiletries, decorating stuff. the list is endless. they dont charge the rrp on alot of stuff as well. the sale they do when a season is over is usually very good. there is always something on sale. the staff are usually friendly and hard working and i am glad we have a wilkos.

Wilkinsons stock a bit of everything! I love the way it sells anything and everything you might need household wise, without having to go to a large supermarket. They stock a great range of cosmetics and toiletries, animal products, household items and a good selection of confectionary.
