the kind of place to go when you want informal family meal but cooked to a good standard. The atmosphere is busy and slightly loud which I enjoyed because my kids can make as much noise as they want without upsetting anyone. We’ve had a free bottle of wine each time and the staff are friendly and allow you to enjoy your meal without having to say «fine thanks» with a mouth full of food (my pet hate!)

Its very reasonably priced
A little jaded though I haven’t been in since it was refurbished in November.
Food is OK.
Staff are OK but not overly attenative.
Nice outside eating area but be warned the steps from the car park aare quite steep.

a nice banks’s pub, beer selection is limited but the food is nice. a pub to go to for some bog standard pub night out
