Évaluation du lieu : 4 Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom
Lovely little country pub in a small village — low ceilings, oak beams, horse brasses and all the character you would expect from an old coaching inn. Extensive and good quality menu at a reasonable price. Selection of real ales with a Cask Marque award, an interesting selection of fruit wines available as well, all served by friendly and helpful staff. Accommodation was in a separate conversion in the yard and seems to be limited to just a few rooms. Clean, tidy and comfortable as you would expect from this type of inn. Quiet village so fairly easy to get a good nights sleep, though the walls between rooms are a bit thin. Tasty breakfast included in the room price which was also very reasonable. All in all a great example of an Olde English pub with a very useful and up-to-date website
