Typical modern premier inn set in a quiet location right on the quay. Has plenty of parking and good access to the trams to get into Manchester. The rooms are well laid out, large tv, opening windows and air conditioning.

Everything is great about this Premier Inn BUT the place has a major heating problem. The design of the building lets the rooms absorb huge amounts of heat during the day and there is no way to get rid of it. Although the day temperature got up to about 24’C, the room is over 28’C. The window is permanently open and an electric fan on but there is NO COOLING. The heat is unbearable. Even during the night, the room temperature does not fall. I stayed here once before when it was cooler outside, but they had the same problem. I came back as I thought the problem might be fixed. Never again.
