This isn’t an exciting shopping centre. I mean, shopping centres are hardly exciting, but this isn’t the Trafford Centre or The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, for instance. I may have been blind to its virtues, missing hidden gems among the old bits of Tudor relief, but all I remembered afterwards was TK Maxx. There are other shopping centres in Salisbury if you’re keen to find them, and a couple of great outdoor markets if you fancy a bit of sunshine.

In a word«tired». Needs investment and more high street names to pull in the masses. That said too small by modern standards

You could blink and miss this place sadly, which is perhaps why its not so popular with the locals. The Cross Keys can be found by looking for just a small walk way between Thomas Cook and Ryman’s shop, near the Guildhall. Once walking down to the Cross Keys, you can expect to find a large TK Max, a Book shop, a little tea room and some small unique shops. Its all undercover which is great if its raining!!!
