Stopped here while on a trip to Stonehenge with Golden tours. Golden tours gives you an option to purchase supper with the tour but we decide to find our own place. The Bell was right around the corner from the tour stop. Very large bar and a great bartender. Based on just food, this review would of been a 2, maybe even a 1 but considering we only ordered the nachos it feels unfair to purely rate on that. The nachos were pretty plain but edible and the pear cider was great. Very affordable. Also after being disgusted by most bathrooms in Europe, this place was a pleasant surprise.

So starts the reviews of my UK tour. After seeing Stonehenge, and getting lost via GPS driving all over England, we found food here at the Bell, my first British meal this trip. We got an appetizer of Chicken Tenders to start off. My friend went with the traditional Fish & Chips, while I went for the slightly different Fishcakes & Mozzarella & Chips. Now, for whatever reason, I keep hearing that British food is bland, and whatnot, but that can’t be farther from the truth. The tenders were incredibly moist, and whatever batter they used was quite flavorful(peppery almost). The fishcakes were well seasoned, though the fish and mozzarella mixture for the cakes was an interesting texture though, but delicious nonetheless. Pricing wasn’t bad either … ~£6($ 10) for my meal, so eating there won’t break the bank. And the staff was quite friendly, especially since we weren’t familiar with the ordering process and whatnot. If I get back over here, this is definitely a nice spot to eat at again.
