nothing special had to wait over an hour for food and it was not very busy

Well what a surprise. Wasn’t expecting too much from pub grub but WOW. Friendly staff, superb service, excellent value for money and the food was scrummyeven the kids ate every bit (which is a first). The staff were rushed off their feet but remained attentive to us. We had a bit of a wait as it was very busy, but we were told when we ordered about the waiting time. Well worth the wait and well worth the money. We are going to make this a regular thing and look forward to our next visit. The landlords mother is an angel and can’t do enough for you. Well done Crow’s Nest, keep it up.

Much better since the new manager took over.
Cleaner and more organised. Food has much improved too.
There are plans for a refurbishment January 2011, I believe and the new manager is very friendly, as are the rest of the staff.

Good cheap menu and the two courses for £ 3.95 is amazing value. Good choice of lagers and ales local guest beers are changed regularly. Service is prompt and the staff are very attentive. Lovely location and ideal for a snack or a drink after a leisurly stroll along what is now a very pleasant seafront
