The Big Tree is a pub in the Greene King brewery chain.
The place is well known in the area for being a hive of trouble although things seem to have calmed down of late. They offer food that is cheap enough for you to question its quality and the tables out front are usually packed all-​year round with threatening-​looking hoodies.
I’d definitely avoid it if there is an England match being played.
