This KFC has had a well-needed refurbishment recently, and now looks and feels a lot nicer place to eat. It is the only fast-food chain in woodseats, so i’d imagine it gets quite a decent amount of business especially with the pubs located nearby. I’ve got to say, I’m not a massive fan of KFC myself, mainly due to their inhumane animal treatment history. So i’m surprised i’ve given this place 3 stars

I’ve only ever bought food to take away from here, but it’s always up to the standard you would expect. There is normally a short wait for the food, even though I’ve never been at what I would expect to be a busy time. Inside, the tables/seating/décor look a little dreary and tired, but you don’t go to KFC to dine in opulence, do you? Overall, I’m always satisfied, but there is one thing: There is a disconcerting number of CCTV cameras by the counter, but again, I’ve never been when it’s been particularly busy, so I couldn’t comment on whether there is a need for them, although I can forsee the only problem being loutish behaviour from the nearby pub. Although once I did get beans when I asked for gravy — Nightmare! KFC gravy is one of the main reasons I go there. Now I always check before I leave.

This KFC is one of the older branches in Sheffield. It obviously stocks the usual menu options that you’d expect from a KFC. In terms of food preparation and service, the branch looks adequately clean. Although the seated areas look as though they are in need of refurbishment and often look as though they could do with cleaning. Often the toilets are out of order and they also look like they could do with being refurbished. The food is generally of a standard to be expected of most KFC branches, though they occasionally run out of the more popular items meaning a long wait for food to be cooked or having to pick an alternative item.
