Ohh a nz style coffee shop in the heart of England. This is a must visit coffee shop for any coffee snob that might be passing through. Obviously I had a flat white would there be any other choice. To be fair they have a wide choice of coffee in a great variety of styles. We visited for brunch and were not disappointed tasty food that was served promptly. The only downside which is also part of the charm is the size of the place it is tiny but that is a good point too. Price wise it isn’t the cheapest cup of coffee in town but it Is one of the best in the region if not the country.

Cosy, friendly Kiwi coffee shop serving superb smooth flat whites, latte etc that are hard to find outside Australia and New Zealand. Excellent spot for breakfast.

I do like it!!! Go there every weekend to order a French Toast and a pot of Milky Chai, starting a new day! Than take away a mocha or latte, perfect!

Being from New Zealand I felt obliged to go to the Tamper Coffee. Partly to judge its authenticity and partly to remedy any homesickness. Tamper Coffee is a lovely representation of a New Zealand style café. Its open layout, warm décor and friendly service reminded me of home. They served quality coffee which I could tell was made by an experienced barista. I wasn’t planning on eating but the specials board vegeterian option sparked my appetite. I ordered a courgette and asparagus risotto. It was a large portion and very nice. It was a little white winey, and would have been nicer with cheese, but was still tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. Futhermore, when we went to pay I was shocked at how reasonable the price was. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Tamper Coffee and as a New Zealander am proud of the level of hospitality it provides.

Great breakfast, we will definitely be back for more french toast… Luckily it was quite quiet so got a table easily, I’m sure it gets very busy!

This is the best coffee I have had in Sheffield — really great stuff. A perfect flat white, some tempting looking flapjacks and friendly staff. There are two shops, I went to the smaller one — I didn’t eat but there was a tempting variety of bagels and breakfast options. It’s always a joy to come across great cafes like this.

Hands down the best coffee in Sheffield. I don’t think I need to go on from that, but you need to try it to understand it! It serves proper coffee in an original setting, and the food on offer is delectable too. A must visit for anyone visiting Sheffield, or if you live in Sheffield make this your regular coffee haunt.

If I lived in Sheffield I think I would spend every possible Saturday brunch here. When we arrived at around 12:15 it was jam packed, but it was only a short wait, during which we had a chance to peruse the menu, until we were seated. The waiter quickly brought over some more menus and a jug of iced water, which was a nice touch. Our food and drinks orders were taken quickly, and the drinks only took a short while to arrive. My pot of English breakfast tea was made with loose leaves, so tasted great, and the milk was presented in a miniature milk bottle — very cute. For brunch(served until 13:00) the four of us ordered two lots of French Toast(egg dipped brioche, caramalised banana and coffee infused maple syrup with crispy bacon), one Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and a «Big Kiwi»(2 scrambled eggs, home made hash browns, crispy bacon, creamed wild mushrooms, butchers sausages, home baked beans, buttered spinach & toast). No-one was disappointed. I had the French Toast and it was fantastic. The brioche was thick sliced and lightly-egged so it didn’t clash with the sweet flavours of the caramalised banana and maple syrup. The bacon had a good snap to it, and there was lovely garnish of sliced strawberry and what I assume was purple cress. It looked great and tasted better — the sort of dish that you have to finish no matter if you feel a little bit ill(in a good way!) afterwards. My only little criticism would be that the stools we sat on weren’t terribly comfortable, however the long benches at which several groups were seated certainly made for a sociable atmosphere. I had a lovely little chat with the lady next to me! I can’t wait to go back!

Very small café, excellent espresso and flat whites. Coffee from Ozone roasters is available to buy. But the coffee and snacks here are excellent and worth a detour — they know coffee!

If you happen to be in the Steel City soon, GETYETOTAMPERCOFFEE.(That ye is completely unnecessary, especially seeing as this popular coffee spot is a Kiwi institution, not something from the English Victorian age.) After reading top reviews on TripAdvisor(I’m still trying to sway her to the ways of Unilocal!) this was Mumma H’s choice for Saturday lunch. Although small and somewhat crowded, we managed to beat the lunchtime rush a grab a table for all five of us, settling in to the corner and taking in our surroundings. Small, yes, but perfectly formed, this is the sort of coffee shop blackboards were made for; the breakfast menu is on each table but lunchtime treats are chalked up near the counter, tempting you in with the handwritten style and long list of options for both coffee and good old sarnies. The flat white, a Kiwi special with local milk from«our cow Molly,» comes highly recommended both online and by my coffee drinking companions, and the food was something special. Simple but perfectly presented, our toasted sandwiches came on wooden boards with a small pot of sweet red onion chutney, the most perfect accompaniment to simple cheese&ham and scoffed by all. Cakes were a must, placed directly next to the till point and in teasingly touchable/eatable distance when reading the lunch board — choose wisely and make room! I tucked into a chocolate covered flapjack whilst the brother went for the white chocolate version and my ever forward thinking father grabbed the last piece of rocky road before we’d even ordered mains(then it turned out it wasn’t even the last piece — such dedication to his favourite biscuit and chocolate!) Winner winner cheese and ham dinner.
