Cheap as chips and a decent atmosphere. Has several large plasma TVs so is great for watching the football. Has a decent outdoor section. Not a great selection of drinks unfortunately.

The Pomona is one of the first pubs you will come to when going out of town down Ecclesall Road, and has recently been under new management, but it is a dissapointment. The pub is quite big but never seems to be very busy.
I visited recently to watch an England match which the Pomona had been adverting but I was very dissapointed at the lack of big screen and lack of atmosphere that resulted from this.
The drinks are quite cheap and they is usally a number of real ales on tap but when I went in none of them were available. The tiolets were very poor. One to miss.

An ok pub but full of commoners especially on a Saturday night. Toilets are grubby

Flat and dull compared to the near competition. Even a boozt kareoke night lacks lustre. Cheapish drinks but dodgy food. Men go here just because they need a beer on the way to the supermarket.
