Great place if you want to relax, have a coffee & breakfast, I’ve even worked from here when my internet has been down. My biggest issue has always been the speed of service especially to get a coffee.

I love the lamp shades and quirky pictures. I came here for dinner with my friend. Staff were really polite. You have to order at the till. I ordered the veg breakfast even though it was night time ! They do all day breakfast — yipee. Located in the heart of Shirley on the Stratford Road. I had the brownie with ice cream also. So yum. Want to go back soon.

I visited here for dinner, it’s recently opened up in Shirley and my brother had been and told me they had lots of vegetarian options so i thought i ought to check it out. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and went that little bit extra in their customer service. The décor was really interesting there was a sort of fusion between modern restaurant and old fashioned café. We were seated in the ‘book corner’ and it felt like i was on the set of Harry Potter or something, it was realluy nice and cosy. Me and a friend shared the veggie breakfast, as we were told the breakfast’s are the biggest plates they do… yes breakfast at 8pm, when is not a good time to have a good ol fry up? It was alot of food for one person, so i’m glad we shared, they also kindly put all of the items with egg in it on a separate plate so as to not contaminate the rest of it, as i dont eat egg. The vegan ginger and dark chocolate tart was lovely but very rich! I’m glad I ordered a scoop of ice cream to go with it. I quite like dark chocolate as it’s not too sweet but friend found it to be very bitter. All in all I would recommend it, and will be visiting again!

This awesome establishment has only been open a week and is turning heads already. Located on Stratford Road, Shirley, it is a very cool Café Bar. Airy and spacious inside with seating on the main ground floor as well as upstairs. Very funky décor, artwork and paintings covering most of the walls and great friendly service. The staff are very friendly and they are dressed so casual you seem to forget they are the staff. This is the concept they are going for — ‘we don’t want to welcome people into a pub, we want to welcome people into our home, which is why we are just dressed like everyone else and don’t have a uniform’. Good range of beers, ales, wines and spirits, with a huge selection of cocktails, mocktails, milkshakes and coffee. This café bar is very suitable for families as well. There is a community book swap cupboard, for those who like to read. The food menu is top notch with a generous selection of food. Brunch, Sandwiches, Tapas, Burgers, Hot dogs and loungers available with a good selection for vegetarians, vegans and those with a gluten free diet. There is seating outside for the hot sunny days, cool subtle music in the background and comfortable surroundings. Open 7 days a week 8am to 11pm Mon-Thurs, 9am to 12am Fri-Sat and 9am-11pm Sunday. Last food orders at 10:00pm. There is pay and display parking in the vicinity, however it is free after 6pm. Check this cool place out!
