Excellent family-run hotel with a very good kitchen. The freshest possible eggs are garnered from their own hens each morning. Small menu but top quality cooking. Judi & I stayed here in March 2008 and ended up dining here six nights out of seven — i.e. the food IS GOOD!
Rooms are a little old fashioned but are charming — especially those overlooking the River Severn (Rooms 1 & 7). Judi & I stayed in Room 7 and were very happy with it.
Popular bar with good selection on offer.
Owner is charming and friendly as are his staff. Well worth a stay or just a meal.
