Wilkinson

Wilko’s is a brilliant place, why spend a fortune on toiletries and house hold goods when you can buy the same products from Wilkos (or cheaper wilko own brand!). Spread over 2 floors it has pet food, lighting, pick and mix, garden items, you name it and wilkos stock it.
Note: No stock of wallpaper is kept in store, you must order 10 days before you need it.

Very handy store as it sells pretty much everything. except clothes!
Easy to visit if you park in the Frankwell car park just across the bridge.
Plenty of staff on hand.
Reasonable prices and plenty of stock.

Wilkinson is based in the Riverside shopping centre, which is accessible from both the Darwin Centre and the Riverside Centre. Wilkinson has seen an increase in trade since the credit crunch, as the prices are very reasonable. This store is on two levels, with escalator and lift covering both floors. The store has some good bargains, and can knock pounds off some stock compared to ther shops. The shop sells everything from furniture, to knitting wool, to bottles of pop to nappies. The store has the new style baskets on wheels, the only problem with these is that when you get to the till you have to lift the basket up, not always practical. The staff are friendly, not always very knowledgable about products and product location. This store is ideal to visit for christmas shopping.

Low prices, well laid out store with friendl staff. Staff not hugely knowledgeable or efficient but friendly enough. Store has 2 floors and has pretty much everything that you need with some wonderful bargains and special offers on daily household items.
