McDonald’s

Always very busy, somtimes the staff can be a little slow. Tables are cleared very quickly and the food has always been ok for a mcd’s.

we wnet through the supposed drive thru here a few months back, not in the holiday season so didn’t expect the amount of hassle we got when all we were trying to do was eat. The car park was jam packed full and the drive thru part was backed up that much that at any one time there were about 10 cars waiting for their food. we had to pull up at the side and hope no one crashed into us, it got to the point were i seriously considered leaving having paid but without the food.

Quite a good McD’s, but it’s always really busy because it’s only small. Right on the sea front, you can’t miss it.

McDonalds is always just in the right place at the right time.
I didn’t expect to be having lunch in Maccy Dees while in Skegness but we had been walking a long time and nowhere else seemed to have anything left.
Inside is clean and the staff are all friendly. A bit over friendly at times I think as in the process of ordering my food the lad behind the till must have called me Sweetheart or Darling about 7 or 8 times.
Food was quite quick. We sat down and they brought it all to us.
The toilets are a bit worse for wear but they are clean enough although there was only toilet paper in one of the cubicles in the ladies.
The drive through looks to be fast and efficient, while we were there they weren’t waiting around very long before driving off with their food. This is about 3pm on an October afternoon.

We came to Skeggy in February when most places were closed, and this was the only place we could get an ice-​cream (ok, a McFlurry). If I’m, honest, it was really nice seeing a logo and name I recognised, given that Skegness is full of random, independent shops and cafes and the like. Those golden arches were a real comfort on a miserable, grey, empty Skegness afternoon

This particular branch of McDonalds is situated on the promenade in Skegness, I think the only time i have been in there when it hasnt been busy was at 7.30am!
The restaurant is always clean and the staff are quick and efficient.
There are usually queues but that is pretty much standard wherever you go to McDonalds!
Obviously being in the heart of Skegness in the Summer months it is busier due to the holiday makers flocking there.
The staff handle this well and try to get the queues moving as fast as they can.
The toilets are clean and well kept, and the floor staff are very quick in clearing tables once people have left.
As you are facing the counter on your left hand side you will see a reasonably large childrens area, which has tiny little childrens tables and chairs with pictures and crayons to keep bored children amused for a little bit!
This McDonalds is also a wi-​fi hotspot.
The exterior has good parking, is clean and tidy including through the attached drive through.
