Really not sure about the Agra. Either the evening out was fantastic; the food, service etc and on as many occasions came away thinking why do I bother coming back?. However so many of my friends and collegues swear by this place! Oh well I suppose it’s all personal preference.

Very nice staff and always a pleasure to take the family to the Agra. Lovely food and even gave us a doggy bag to take home after having eyes bigger than our bellys and ordering far too much food. Which by the way, was just as enjoying the following evening! I would without a doubt recommend the Agra as one of the best Indian Resturants I have visited. Well done.

What can i say about the Agra! Superb food at reasonable prices. Authentic Indian atmosphere. The lounge is a lovely place with plenty of space and a great place to wait whilst they prepare your table or package your food for takeaway. The staff are friendly and have been known to offer complimentary drinks if your meal is still being prepared. There is also another Agra restaurant in Ruskington. The Agra 2 is run and owned by the same people as the Agra but in my opinion the original is the best. A point of note, there is also an Agra 3 in Blyth i believe. The food prepared and served in the Agra is some of the best Indian food that i have tasted whilst living in England. They will prepare the meal to your desired taste. The priice of the meal is reasonable and well worth it. The place cannot be beaten for food, atmosphere and price. The service is good without being in your face. If you want to sit in and eat at the weekends it is best to book a table well in advance as the Agra gets very busy.
