We had dinner twice and the food was delicious, the service very friendly and attentive and there is a good selection of local ales and beers available.
Btw, I can’t understand people who are rating a pub with just one star because they are not satisfied with the price for an orange juice. Pathetic!

Went for dinner on a Friday night and had to wait 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. We ordered a clam and salmon linguine and a cheesey fish pie. Both were very underwhelming. The linguine was drowning in sauce and the clams were very overcooked. The fish pie was underseasoned and you couldn’t taste any cheese at all. The place has been redecorated recently, and has lost a lot of its cosy charm and is now rather soulless. All in all very disappointing for the price.

This is a lovely country pub right by the entrance to Cliveden, the national trust proprty and grounds. Great for weekend meals especially as they serve food all throughout the day — so a good time to come is around 5 or 6 on a Sunday when the crowds have gone and you can bag that table by the fire and read the papers!
It is part of a chain I think Chef & Brewer but the food is good, reasonably priced with good choices
