Sought this place after a nearby wedding in Burnham. Me and the wife had a great full English, the place looked great and definitely seems like the sort of place we’d regulatory go to if we lived in the area! Service was great and reasonably priced.

I have been to this bistro lots of times. I have never had a bad meal. The menu is so varied that you can pick something different everytime and the food is amazing.
The staff are helpful, friendly and a good giggle at lunch time which makes my working day a little bit better.
Their bubble and squeak is AMAZING, I would highly recommend it…

Oh gosh how much I love this place. It is the perfect spot both for a quick lunch or dinner with friends or a more special occasions such as birthday parties or anniversaries. Their cook has magic hands, he doesn’t use much spices or other strange ingredients so the dishes look pretty simple but never the less very delicious. Last time we were here the staff were a bit grumpy and just wanted to get over with our order, but I hope that will be just a one time thing.

Nice little bistro set in an unassuming area. Although fairly quiet when we went, there was a nice friendly atmosphere, and appeared quite kid friendly. The menu was quite interesting with plenty of bistro style choices. Service was reasonably good and attentive. The food was good — i had the warm duck salad for starters and it was excellent. The main course was huge… way too big. All in all, recommended for a casual night out with friends, family or kids.
They also offer cooking classes and dinner at the chefs table fir entertaining groups.

Excellent local restaurant and now with deli and café.
This restaurant has been there for years — nice to see a restaurant make it through all the hard times over the last 15 years.
It serves good food and there is always a good atmosphere. The new deli serves great takeaway food and they now also have a chefs table by the kitchen for small private parties which is a great experiencebit pricey — but great for a special occasion

Have a had a few good meals at Tummies Bistro. The freshly made bread they provide before the meal is a delicious and great start to the meal. Service is average. The restaurant does have a relaxed friendly atmosphere. They handle large groups of people well. Prices are reasonable.

We went to Tummies a few years ago. We’d been to a nearby chinese takeaway a few times and everytime we passed Tummies we thought it looked like a nice place to try.
When we did go, the staff were a little huffy as we hadn’t booked (we didn’t know you had to!), they found us a table, but continued to be a little funny and we had a lot of waiting to do.
The food was nice, but very pricey for what it was. Despite the rude staff we still had a nice meal and we did enjoy looking at the walls which were decorated with pictures that various customers had done.
If we ever go back to the area for any length of time, we may give it another go, but of course we’d book!

I wasn’t that impressed with Tummiesit’s very expensive and I didn’t think the food was good enough for the price tag. It’s location also isn’t greatif you sit outside you’re practically on the road and it’s not a very picturesque area.
As for the cooking classes — you actually watch the chef preparing the food, you don’t get to do it too which seems pointless and again they are very expensive.
I won’t be going back again.

They also do a fantastic learn to cook lesson in the back kitchenlooks fab. And on Valentines they do a great take out part cooked meal so you can impress your partner with your ‘home cooked’ food lol

Tummies has been around a while and whilst it used to seem slightly pretentious and over priced, it is now a very reasonable good restaurant to visit.
The walls are decorated with pictures that customers (mainly children) have drawn (they supply the paper has the food place mat and also some pencils) and also some pictures of customers. The staff are friendly and will help with any dietry needs that you or the children have.
The menu is varied and everything i have tried has been very good. You can expect to pay about £5.50 for a starter (which includes mussels, crab cakes and pâté) and about £13 for a main (some options are fresh fish, steaks and pasta) — but prices obviously vary widely upon what you have. I think one dish there was about £22! so just choose wisely. The food is simply cooked but very tasty — nothing too over whelming!
I would eat here again and recommend it for romantic meals or celebrations.
