I have had several bouquets of flowers bought for me from this florist and every time they are disappointing. My partner ordered birthday flowers two years on the trot and as he didn’t specify what colours, I got an array of orange/​red/​yellow cheaper flowers that clash… felt like the left overs at the end of the day. I called to express my disappointment but was told it wasn’t their fault he should have told them what colours he wanted. .sorry he is a bloke .they need some guidance from the experts!
So with valentines upon us how exciting to come home to find roses on the door step. Unfortunately they were a mixture of pink and red… clashing colours that just don’t go! Again feels like they must have run out of red so filled up with pink! Again I called to express my disappointment but was told that that is what he asked for and they didn’t care. It’s sad really as if it was my business and I was sending out my flowers which are such a personal thing, simple questions like «does your wife like modern flowers?» Or «what type of colour scheme,? Something neutral or bright?» And hey it’s valentines…12 red roses… not difficult!
I actually joked with my partner that I knew that they were from him because he had used the same «colour blind» florists as usual! I saw 12 red roses at sainsburys that looked more classy and half the price!
They are an expensive florist and I don’t mind that but it’s about caring for the customer… just knocking out bouquets without any thought for who they are for and whether the gentleman ordering them needs some guidance, and wanting your work to look beautiful in someone home. There is no wow factor with this florist… nobody has ever walked in and seen my flowers and said wow where did you get those flowers they are beautiful!
Finally the attitude when I have spoken to the florist about this is that they don’t care, they cant help it if I don’t like them… it’s my partners fault… speak to him! Well the good news is that I have and he is soooo disappointed that he won’t be shopping there again and I have another beautiful bouquet of flowers to replace the «colour blind florist» ones!

This tiny florist is situated right on Solihull High Street but I have only just noticed it. I’m not sure how long it has been there but business seems to be ‘blooming’ as when I visited the little shop was very busy. It seems that lots of the customers have been in before and are returning as the service and product they have received in the past is so good.
The fresh cut flowers that they stock are of the highest quality and the flowers I bought lasted over 10 days. They also assemble and deliver bouquets and have lots of indoor and outdoor plants for sale.
Not exactly cheap but this is Solihull darling!

My brother and sister in law had all their wedding flowers and centre pieces from here and they were lovely. The vases /​holders the flowers came in were high quality and the end result was just beautiful. Since then I have picked up the occasional bouquet for my mum and nan and I am always pleased with the quality. It is a tad more expensive that other florists I use though.
