I love this park. Whether your going for a stroll, walking the dog or jogging this park is fairly flat and picturesque. There is a large lake for feeding the ducks. There is a small woodland area. There are regular British Military Fitness classes held on the grass area of the park and a free 5k timed parkrun every Saturday morning. Tennis courts can be used and plenty of benches to sit and gather your thoughts or relax. The carpark is pay and display, however there is parking on the main road. Check this park out whatever the weather.

This park has so many different uses for so many different people. For a nice day out with children I would recommend the nature area and the lakes. Feeding the ducks and geese is one of my all time favourite things to do; it has been since I was a child. Very little has changed since then. The park is also great for students from the nearby Solihull Sixth Form College. I remember skipping class to hang around with a girl I dated in the park. I won’t divulge our activities, but they were nothing new to the parks deep bushes and high trees! I like to drive here these days as they have adequate parking at both ends of the park. It is a great place to have a walk and a nice think to clear the mind. This park has won the ‘Britain in Bloom’ competition many times. It is easy to see how they did this because the floral displays around the park are simply gorgeous. Great Park, Great day out.

I had the pleasure of walking through the beautifully landscaped Malvern Park during college days, and I’ve returned since to re-live the experience. There are two play areas, tennis courts and a nature centre with a lake. It’s a perfect place for a day out with the family or just to soak up the sun on a summer’s day. Given the attractions within the parks, it’s appealing to all ages. There is also a car park, which is conveniently located next to a recreation area. The parks are a fine area of greenery that are shielded from surrounding roads, which adds to their tranquillity. It’s popular with locals because you’ll always find someone strolling around. It’s also used by Solihull Sixth Form students as a route from the town centre to the college. Despite this, I have never seen the park littered or otherwise tainted. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I spent many a lunchtime when I attended the nearby Solihull Sixth Form college, in Malvern and Brueton Parks. Not to mention many trips there with my family as I was growing up in the area. The parks are so large and beautifully kept. There is so much to do for all ages places to do sports such as jogging and tennis, a play area for little ones, a nature reserve with a café for inquisitive visitors and lots of benches for a sit-down! My one gripe would be parking there just isn’t enough of it! The park is so large with so many visitors. There is parking for maybe 50 cars, but as it is free parking it is often used by those going shopping, as the town centre is only minutes away!

When I am feeling like a long walk with my dog I usually park my car at Brueton park which is the end by the pond and walk up to Malvern park which is where the playground is. I think it is that way around anyway. And return back to my car it is a nice walk in any weather apart from the rain. It usually takes me around an hour of brisk walking on the pathway. I also come here often in the year with the grandchildren and take them to the playground and walk to the coffee shop and nature centre and enjoy a walk around there for a while. I can not bring my dog into the nature centre or the playground so he stays at home for those visits. They have activities in the park for children all year around with some Christmas activities coming up soon and nature walks to cinema in the park in the summer some activities are free and some are paid. A lovely park which has a large pond with some geese and ducks
