Excellent place to buy things for your little-​uns in the middle of the town centre.
Always an excellent choice to choose from considering the smallness of the store.
The staff are always helpful and if they haven’t got what you want in store will quite happily order it in for you or tell you where availability is.

Good choice of products aimed at younger children. Staff very helpful. Children love going in to play with a selection of toys especially the trains. Have special days with face painting etc. Toys are reasonably priced.

This is a great shop to buy toys for young children. Although it is not a particularly large shop it is well-​stocked with a lot of the Early Learning Centre range. The staff are friendly to adults and to children, and never seem too busy to make suggestions or to look for something for you. The stock changes with the seasons and in the Summer they have an excellent range of outdoor toys and activities.
When I have bought large items or a lot of shopping the staff have suggested I come back later to the rear of the building where there is vehicular access. They then bring the goods you have previously purchased out to your car — fantastic service. A brilliant shop.

a reasonable sized store, with excellent staff who are very kind, friendly and helpful and good with children too (when showing how toys work).
a great selection for a small store, and staff are eager to help you with any queries, ordering things in for you and holding items for a day or so. they are also happy to help with suggestions when you are stuck for ideas for presents for example, which i find is a real advantage.

I loved the ELC as a kid myself, and now with a nephew, I find myself going in there, and noticing that he’s now playing with the same toys I did 20 years ago, such as wooden train-​sets and such, which are sold at a reasonable price.
The staff are always helpful and clued up on whatever the latest squeeze is, be it In The Night Garden or Tellytubbies, and will help you find what you’re looking for.
They also do some events such as face paintings, childrens activity events, baby photo’s, and corperate sells, so if you wish to attend any of these, you may want to ask how popular they’re expecting it to be, especially the baby photo’s, as these can become unexpectedly hectic.

excellent range of toys and value too, with very helpful staff giving you the opportunity to come and collect later by car or in store. they can hold items for you too.
if you join your child to the birthday club there, you receive goodies and 20% discount voucher over their birthday and valid for 3 months after too

Good range of toys for young children. Staff very helpful and polite. Always something in the sale. Can order out of stock items. Do have occasional activities — bubble machine, face paintings etc. My kids always want to a have a look inside even when not buying.
