Tandoori Hut

One of my favourate Indian take-​aways, (definatly in the top 5), the food here is some of the spicier cuisine I’ve tasted, but not so much so that you can’t taste the other ingredients, showing the skill of the cooking involved.
Providing collection and delivery, they also do some western cuisine, (such as pizza’s), which I tried once, and I was not as impressed; they were OK, but they were no Pizza Hut, and should stick to their strengths; which is fine Indian cuisine, for the same reason Pizza Hut doesn’t do Vindaloo’s.
Prices are a little more expensive than some places but this reflects the quality and taste of the food and is well worth it, and their delivery times are excellent, and the dishes are always piping hot.
The staff are always polite when phoning, and will ask for directions if they’re not sure on exactly where you are, and ask to take a contact number in-​case they have any trouble finding you, but this has never happened to me yet.
Over-​all, a great place to order your cuisine if you like it hot and spicy, and good all round service.

This is a fantastic Indian take away, which delivers to central Southend and Southchurch. The quality of the food is excellent, with a broad menu which they can adapt to suit individual tastes e.g. making food spicier. Staff on the phone are very friendly and helpful. Delivery is always within half an hour of ordering even on a weekend evening, and the food is hot when it arrives. Prices are very reasonable.
This take away has recently branched out into serving chicken and pizzas, cooked in a separate kitchen, and also available for delivery, allowing a family to have different types of food in one delivery.
