Lovely quiet village pub. What makes this place really shine is the food though. The Rose sells high quality food on a par with some of the best restaurants in London but at a very reasonable price.

The Rose and Crown is a traditional pub (owned by Elgood’s brewery), with good meals available at competitive prices. If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a quiet drink, this is the kind of place you’ll be looking for. The drinks selection isn’t great, but what they do have is often of high quality. They have a small children’s play area/​beer garden at the back.
