Évaluation du lieu : 2 Saint Albans, United Kingdom
The gym is now owned by Nuffield Health. Its an impressive looking place at first glance but having been a member for nearly a year now I will be cancelling my membership as it is costing over £80 per month and the facilities at the local authority gym in St Albans are far superior.

Cannons has been my gym for the last 6 months although I have recently left. There is plenty of parking, a good crèche, a shop, and a café. There are 2 pools, one for lane swimming and one for children or learners as well as a tiny ‘pool’ with about 2 inches of water for babies. There are at least 2 saunas and a solarium. I have never not been able to get on a treadmill, exercise bike, stepper etc so there are obviously more than enough of these equipments. There is a free weights room as well as weight machines and several rooms for extra activities like aerobics, spinning, karate etc. There are at least 4 squash courts and viewing galleries above. There is also a beauty salon which is a bit underwhelming. There are fantastic facilities here but I always found it a bit dirty. The womens shower room is desperate need of some help and the windows as you look out of the swimming pool are constantly filthy. I would expect more of a club that you pay so much for. The equipment itself isn’t dirty though and you do just get used to it.
