It is a shame that the previous reviewer had a bad experience here, because I’ve been there several times and have had a wonderful evening every time!
The restaurant is owned by Freddie (surprise surprise) and he’s always there to welcome you when you walk in, which gives it a really friendly feel. The food is delicious and there is a really relaxing atmosphere in there. I would say its some of the best food I’ve tasted in Hertfordshire.
It can be a little pricey at times, but is worth it for a special occasion. On Friday nights they normally have dancing later on as well, so its quite good for a work do etc.

A nice restaurant serving intersting tasty food.
Sadly I only went once and it seemed that they couldn’t wait to get rid of us.
No sooner had one course been served they were literally waiting with the next — it simply fel that they couldn’t wait to get rid of us.
