Limassol Taverna

1^st visit and it was lovely. My meal was fab and plenty to eat, but some of the other dishes seemed a little small for the price (compared with another Greek restaurant we frequent). Having said that, the food was excellent quality and the services was ok.

Visited for my brothers birthday and was very impressed. The food was excellent and the service was very efficient even though the restaurant was packed. If you are after a great night out this place is a must!

After reading the reviews on Qype the restaurant had a lot to live up to. It did and much more.
It was clear from the first course of the Meze we were in for a treat as the home made dips and meats came at exactly the right pace.
The food and service were both fantastic; it was just like being in Cyprus again.

this is my favourite restaurant in the whole of Merseyside and we regularly make the trip from Liverpool to eat here. The staff are friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The décor is a little out-​dated but I personally think that adds to the charm of the place. There is always a nice atmosphere in the place but best thing about this restaurant is the food (and so it should be) My partner and I usually pick a few starters to share and we always include the whitebait which always tastes so fresh and has been perfectly cooked. The main courses are splendid and the portion sizes are very generous. The lamb kleftico melts in the mouth and the beef stifado is beautiful. I cannot comment on the dessert menu as I have never been able to order one after eating the mains and starters but if you are ever in St Helens you really should try this place, you won’t be disappointed.

this is a great resturant. the food is brilliant and the portions are more than enough. u will not be disappointed. if u love greek food and are ever in st helens it is worth a visit!

Really enjoyed it here went for a birthday treat and had the banquet. There was a good variety of food and plenty of it. The waitress was attentive without being over bearing.
it was a little quiet when we went but that was mid week.
Definitely will be going again.

This is my favourite restaurant in St Helens as I really enjoy the food that they serve. This is a nice place to eat whether there are just 2 or a group of twenty enjoying a family party. they do a teatime special which is 3 courses from a set menu for about a tenner and the kids meals are very reasonably priced too. I enjoy the kleftikon — slow roasted lamb on the bone which melts in your mouth. the stuffed vine leaves are a dream, especially if you use the warm bread they serve to help you along. My mouth is watering whilst writing this, reminding me that I must return soon. The staff are pleasant and eager to please yet they don’t hassle you at your table. It’s a relaxed atmosphere and they have live belly dancing once a month.
