Went to Rubino’s last night for the first time, heard nothing about it so went with an open mind and i have to say it was lovely. Service was great, we wanted time between courses and it was given, polite and well informed. Food was divine, hot and well presented. The Restaurant is really nice and i cant fault anything. although my friend wanted more dessert choice, but overall well recommended

Rubino, formally known as the Warehouse is an Italian restaurant with a Cocktail Lounge. As you enter you are greeted with a modern style too bars, with huge comfy chairs along the back wall and a long bar with a selection of great drinks. The cocktail menu is pricey but well worth one or two to start the night. Staff are well dressed and are always quick to serve you. The restaurant area is through another set of doors and once you are inside and can seat about 50 people or more(ill have to check that). There is even a VIP area if you wish to dine in style or peace away from others. There is a great selection of food available on the menu, and it’s quite expensive, but do not this put you off as the food is excellent, and presented in a top class fashion. I went for my Nans birthday, and there was 14 of us in total and I think the bill was around £340, including drinks. I would be here forever naming the starters and main courses everyone had but I will give a few that caught my eye. For starter I had Mozzarella and banana skewer, which was an unusual but interesting combination that really works. It was dusted with breadcrumbs and fried and served with a spicy tartar sauce. I know your first thought may be Yukkk! But it was delicious. Id highly recommend for mains the Motram St. Andrew Confit belly pork, my mum ended up sharing hers with half the table, so I can back that up with 14 people. Anyway here is the website if you want to look at the menu and there is a gallery of the place too. Enjoy.
