plenty of high quality snooker tables available with in house competitions every once in a while. if your going to visit regularly get a membership for around £17 and then get half price snooker at certain times of the day and week. there are 4 pool tables at the back with 2 bandit machines and a bar that serves some very nice pints

Scala has plenty of snooker tables to choose from. The tables are expensive to play on. The drinks are expensive to buy. Some of the tables are in a poor condition. Some of the extras like spiders and rest are broken.
The staff are pleasant without being over friendly. The place atracts a lot of scallys. There are only 2 pool tables. They do have a small TV that they show snooker, football etc on.
There are no real alternatives in the town so we are stuck with this place if you want to play snooker. There are some arcade machines in the place which make random noise and can disturb you whilst your trying to play on a quiet day.
