If they gave away their food for free I wouldn’t eat it. The food is absolutely awful.

I live down the road from here and have eaten in and taken away. By far the best salt beef and latkas around. I love it here and I don’t really find the staff annoying, I find them just right for where they work.

Being a non– kosher Jewish eatery the prices at Madisons Deli is brilliant. The menu is exclusively Ashkenazi so you’ll find the regular staple Jewish food on the menu(latke, liver, gefillte fish, kreplach etc) I suggest the salt beef sandwich on rye. Thick, tender slices of beef between rye bread with a dash of mustard = absolutely delicious. I have to emphasize *dash of mustard* too much will simply ferment your brains. Very strong stuff indeed. The desserts looked sooo damn yum but I had run out of time but I will surely be back for a lovely portion of lokshen! They also do burgers and other non Jewish foods; all reasonably priced. Inside is very clean and bright. Café style but a bit more stylish. A good place for lunch. Service is quick but strictly professional. Also, don’t expect too much from their alcoholic drinks menu.
