Boots The Chemists

This is one of the larger Boots Stores. Boots sell a wide range of toiletries, medicines, baby products (nappies, feeding equipment etc), electrical beauty items, make up, a food range & more. It makes a good one stop shop for all your toiletries, make up & healthcare products, and their points scheme is fantastic, especially if you join up to points clubs and make the most of the offers. Their meal deal is great too — they offer a wide range of healthy & delicious lunches + snacks. Definitely one of my favourite shops.

Like the TARDIS it’s bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Boy does this shop have a lot of space! They have all the big name brands such as Max Factor and Soap N Glory, and more select brands such as the Sanctuary spa range and their own botanical product range. Signing up for an advantage card is a very good idea, it’s free and you can start collecting points with the cardboard temporary card as soon as you fill out the form. Once you get your real card in the post you can use the advantage card machines to enter competitions, join boots clubs and get special discounts and offer not available without the card. You’ll also collect 4 points per pound spent which you can then use to buy more things another time. This particular branch always stocks a good variety of gifts for Christmas for everyone you’re buying for, and also has a good selection of travel sized products for holidays and trips. The staff are friendly and helpful and the products are organised by type clearly throughout the store with large print signage.

This store is great. No worries about parking and easy access for your pharmacy goods.
The shop itself is huge, well stocked and well laid out.
They have lots of 2 for one offers on a good variety of things from toiletries to gift packs.
At Christmas there is always a good stock of presents suitable for teacher presents and if you shop during the year and use your boots card can usually save up enough to get a few free things in the year.

I loooove this shop. They sell health and beauty products and cosmetics. They have fantastic make up counter with wonderful, friendly consultants who will let you try the make up on for free before you purchase it, and offer advice. I do find the ladies in the fragrance section to be quite pushy though! I always come out of the store smelly like 10 different perfumes.
