Cineworld

Cineworld Stockport is great — but due to the fact that the last 2 movies I’ve been to there’s only been me and one other random guy in there it could be that it’s only me that thinks this at the mo!
According to staff it’s been earmarked for demolition in Dec 2015 to make way for a Premier Inn (great… :-() but until then I’ll keep going and taking advantage of their cheap tickets (usually around £7 — 10% off if you book online) and easy access to seats and surroundings. It’s right next to the train station too.
Parrs Wood is down the road (3 miles) and has a bigger selection but this one still has 10 screens and is pretty cool — it works for me anyway.
The next door bowling alley was knocked down to make way for a car park last year… I think I may need to chain myself to the Cineworld next year to stop them taking away even more leisure activities in Stockport and replacing them with the mundane.
