This gorgeous setting for a pint right at the top of Mow Cop, a stone’s throw away from Mow Cop Castle with the ability to see over the Cheshire and Staffordshire borderlands. The traditional pub food is available along with the unusual-for-a-pub Persian food. Service was quick when I went and friendly bar staff so definitely worth a place for a meal etc. Prices were great for food aswell as the large selection of beers/ales from local and international brands. The outdoor seating areas also make it a popular place to enjoy the countryside with a summer pint and friends if you can travel to this place.
