Wide selection of cakes on offer including banana cake, lemon drizzle cake and chocolate cupcakes. Prices are very reasonable too, with smaller cakes costing £1.10 for takeaway and £1.75 to eat in. I opted for an unbaked chocolate cake which consisted of a mixture of crushed digestive biscuits and fruit covered with a top layer of chocolate. It was absolutely delicious. The high tea looked really good. Unfortunately, there was no space inside the café, so we had to settle for takeaway and look for another place to grab some tea.

I love Havilands range of cakes, especially the unbaked chocolate slice. They are only a small shop, but they offer a HUGE number of tasty, sticky treats(plus savoury ones if you want to behave yourself) They are certainly worth a visit if you are feeling peckish.

We bought some incredibly yummy cakes from here, but it was a bit of a tough choice as they all looked so nice. We settled on a toffee mallow crispy cake which was enormous and I could only just get into my mouth to bite on, and a lemon coconut slice. Disappointingly they do not have any space inside to run a café, though they do have some tables and chairs on the pavement outside(though it was a bit too cold and windy for that when we went in November). They do a really nice looking range of snacks/deli lunches. The most amazing thing we saw there though was the awesome gingerbread houses that you can order for Christmas. They only make a limited number but it really does look worth the £35 price tag it was beautifully decorated. If you are in the Stratford area you must go just to look at it in their window!
