A great old pub that hasn’t changed the interior atmosphere. Service was friendly and a reasonable price for a midweek lunch. I had a jacket potato with chilli, and I knew that I had eaten the chilli. It was really hot and wonderful. My partner had a tuna mayo sandwich. As she said, ‘they must have used a whole tin making this one’.
The pub has a large area set out for meals and the menu is quite extensive, especially the ‘specials’ on the blackboards. We will pop back there one evening to give it a real ‘try out’.
