Kemps store is located just opposite sunderland royal hospital at the top of Chester Road. When i was pregnant i bought loads of baby clothes as there are lots of items with labels cut out from quite expensive shops, sold at very cheap prices. My nana always buys her wool there as apparantly it is cheap. I still often go in there now to buy socks, tights and underwear for my kids. The staff are lovely and friendly and will put items aside for you to get later on. Well worth a visit as you can pick up afew special items at really good prices.

excellent array of kids and baby clothes, shop is within easy walking distance from maternity hospital so handy for that surprise gift

This shop has been going for years and years, i’m 37 and i remember my mum buying things for me from this shop. I go in alot because you can get some really good bargins but the tags have to be cut out but i’ve bought clothes for my kids from here that have been from next and marks and spencer so its definately worth a look.
