Shoe Zone

This store is located in the bridges shopping centre. It has decent shoes for decent prices, sometimes you get what you pay for at the lower range and the shoes dont last very long, but you can get real leather at competative prices which are proberly everyday shoes. Kids shoes can be picked up very cheaply, if you are ever in this store and there is a sale they are practically giving the shoes away… You can pick up cheap laces, soles and shoe polishes so even if you just pop in there is always something that will maybe catch your eye, the staff are always lovely, friendly and helpful.

I think that this store is perfect for someone wanting a generic black pair of work shoes, or a cheap pair of trainers for the gym, other than that there is not much on offer. My sister gets school shoes from here, because she will go through many pairs in a year and they are cheap. I bought a pair of trainers from here for the gym as I was only going to wear them once a week. I tend not to shop here regularly, because they don’t really have any pretty shows. So to summarise, great prices, not so great variety, but great for the basics.

Shoe Zone is a chain of high street stores which sell discounted shoes and bags for all the family. I have found that the quality of their shoes is rather hit-​and-​miss. However the average price per pair is around £7 so you can’t really grumble! They cater for ladies size 3 – 9 — I find that they are in the minority of value shoe shops which sell size 9 shoes at affordable prices so they definitely get my approval.
I find that in general the sizing is quite small, however, some styles do run large and when I do find a size 9 that fits, I buy a few pairs. Their sales are also pretty good — after xmas I have found some great sub-£10 boots in my size, as well as flat pumps for as little as £3 per pair. They also have some branded mens shoes at a fraction of what they cost in catalogues and sports shops.
All in all the quality is not outstanding but if you are looking for a cheap pair of stylish shoes for a night out or casual shoes for work, then I definitely recommend Shoe Zone.
