Having lived all over London and eaten a lot of curry I am very happy to declare this to be one of the best places and it’s my local. Exactly what you want in a curryhouse.

Best Indian meal you will find.
As soon as you walk through the door you know its going to be a good evening.
Friendly staff, ace food.
We booked in advance as we were having a birthday meal. Restaurant was full. Which has to be a good sign.
Can not wait to go back. the food was tops.
Go see for yourself you will not be let down.

One of the best places in Surbiton for a curry, I miss getting take aways from there.

Friendly staff and always pretty good service. Food is generally very good but had some slightly dissapointing dishes that were a little greasy. But very few. Shashlik and chefs specials always good. Reliable curry hub of surbiton.

You can always rest assurred you’ve chosen the right restaurant when half the customers are greeted with handshakes and kisses indicating they visit on a regular basis.
I can understand why the Red Rose is popular; the staff are very friendly, and the food is fantastic value for money. The décor may be a little «rustic» (yes I am a snob), but I think that adds to it’s charm. We went to Joy recently across the road, and found the staff to be rude, slow to serve, and the food more expensive (so the plush décor doesn’t mean a good meal).
I would strongly recommend the Red Rose for a great curry at a reasonable price.

Only ended up in this little gem of a restaurant because I have family in the area that I was visiting, but they really do have gorgeous food here.
Great curries, good sized portions — not too big, not too small. Would recommend it if you’re in the area because there aren’t that many good places to eat in Surbiton!

This is a fantastic place to eat. The best Indian in the area by far. Great down to earth place and the food is to die for. I am always surprised by how value for money the place is. Loads of food and drink for not that much money in my view. Go there trust me.

This is by far the best place I’ve ever been for Indian food.
The food is fantastic. Staff are very pleasant and the place has a lively, but not loud, atmosphere.
The manager always makes people feel welcome and gives The Rose the personal touch.
