Évaluation du lieu : 3 Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom
This family run business has long been a Sutton favourite with good reason. The thing that sets this place apart from Sutton’s many balti houses is its sense of family. Run by Sham and his son Abul, the staff take their time to chat to their customers and Abul is always on hand to discuss the comings and goings of Premier League football. The traditional feel is also reflected in a menu, which offers the sorts of Bangladeshi cuisine the British just can’t get enough of. The last me and my husband went I had a Chicken and Mushroom Balti and he had a Lamb Dhansak. **Warning — the portions are pretty healthy which means you may want to share your side orders like we did. The egg fried rice was light and fluffy as was the portion of golden fries. The whopping plain naan and poppadums made this a feast reasonably priced at £21.10. One more thing to remember, the Sonargaw is a licensed restaurant, so no need to bring your own as with some of its competitors. After a big meal, a cool bottle of Cobra was just the job to make things as traditional as possible!
