Hillcrest is the finest Fish and Chip shop in the area, and is situated just off the A511, about half way between Ashby De La Zouch and Burton on Trent. Hillcrest is extremely popular because of its great reputation, and on occasion, queues stretch around the inside of the shop and out onto the steps outside! The fish and chip portions here are huge, but unless you are very hungry or there is a group of you, a standard portion is ample. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the family portion! Not only are the portions large, the food is very tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and efficient. Hillcrest also serves other fish shop staples like kebabs and chicken.
