Work actually came in less than was originally quoted. I’ll bet this wouldn’t happen at most garages should a job turn out easier than expected! First visit good!
Let me down on the second visit. Was left with a leaking radiator which they had installed on the previous visit. Had to continually top up with water until it inevitably wee’d its coolant all over the road. Went elsewhere for another new radiator. Second visit not so good!

It’s a great place, have had my MOT there 3 years running now. Very nice and friendly people, if you have a problem with the car they’re more than happy to take a look and give you a quote. Very commendable

I’ve taken my cars for MOT to DL Motors for 15 plus years and have always been very happy with their service, honesty and reliability. Last year on my aging car my exhaust started blowing just before my MOT test was due, on taking it to an exhaust centre I was told it needed a new exhaust, I booked it in for the following day but as it is an older car I decided to take it up to DL with concerns in case there were any major repairs needed for the MOT (was it worth a new exhaust or coming to the end of its’ life!). Don, proprietor of DL, came to the rescue as well as doing a pre mot check over which was positive, he informed me that the exhaust was only broken behind the silencer and could be repaired with a sleeve welded on at a minimal cost. That was last August and my car (touch wood) remains safely quiet thanks to the integrity of DL motors saving me a major cost just at the time of MOT test.
