Hmv

I’m amazed anybody actually bothers going into this shop in the Quadrant anymore, its such a total mess all round, and VERY expensive too. Better off going onto their website and ordering online, their prices are SO much cheaper, and you get FREE delivery as well. No contest really.

i dont like mega death looking over my shoulder while purchasing a cd or dvd. (a member of staff standing next to me looking through my purchases while being served at till point) poor customer service

Everyone always pops into a HMV at one point in their shopping trip, and I really dont like this HMV, I find that their sections are all over the place, except the new games section, which because it is new it is easy to find what you are looking for, but the rest of the shop, I just dont know where to start, and when I do find what I am looking for the prices are so high comapre to other places or their online store. The staff are helpful, when you can find one, the only ones seem to be behind the till or extremely busy! Christmas time is a nightmare will extra long queues.

Everytime I’m in town I always make sure to pop into this store. Im a bit of a dvd addict and always look at the special offers section. Its quite a large store and is never too busy that it feels claustrophobic in there. Its in a convenient place located in the quadrant and isnt far from the bus station. They also sell games and music obviously but my main interest is always the movies. I have picked up some really good bargains there recently from as little as £3. The only slight criticism is that they rarely seem to discount the world cinema movies which I’m a big fan of.

Large store in good central location within Swansea shopping centre. Large selection of dvds and cds covering all genres and music types. They also have a selection of books and games. Also have a good stock of Blu Ray DVDs. Their stock clearance sales are always good for a bargain and are featured in the store on a regular basis.
During the busy periods the queues can be very long. I have actually given up on a purchase and left the store because of the queues. Also the prices on new stock is more expensive than in other stores. Also their own on line prices are cheaper than that in store.

This is a good HMV store, They seem to have old cds as well as all the new ones. I do find now they have changed the way they price up their goods that they do seem a bit more exspensive, But they do always have deals like 2 cds for £10.
The staff are very helpful and search through their computer to see if they have something in stock rather than you searching through yourself.
There is pleanty of space and pleanty of ideas in there.
