It is was it is, nothing special but of a good standard no waiting just help yourself. I like it every now and again especially if they have the gammon on leave the liver, burgers and all desserts but everything else is ok.

Obviously an all you can eat buffet is not the most classy place. So dont expect anything more than £8 worth of sugar and carbs. It is however a good place to go with a group of competitive mates before a night out. The food isnt top shelf, anyone expecting that wants their head examined… there is however, plenty of it. =D

Considering the cost(it’s up to £8 now, not 7) the food is terrible. Firstly — don’t go if you have vegetarians with you, there’s only one main for them with any protein content(whereas cheap meat is everywhere), and it’s pizza with almost no cheese. Which just about sums up all of the food — lots of carb, no taste or nutrition. Potatoes and bread abound. To be fair the salad bar is pretty good — I just ate a few bowls of different salads after the realisation dawned there was little else worth eating. Desserts were awful too — the custard is a watery tasteless yellow drool with no sugar content, and the chocolate gateaux was the most sickly sweet chemically fluffy crap I’ve eaten :(

Do not go here if you are looking for posh — that it isn’t. It is however, a cheap and cheerful place to eat, particularly if you are very hungry! You pay at the door and can choose your own table, then help yourself to a plate and away you go. There are salads, pasta, soup and breads, meats, pizza, chinese, mexican, chips, burgers, carvery, all you can think of and all you can eat. You can also have unlimited desserts– their hot chocolate fudge sauce is amazing. Drinks are unlimited too. Very child friendly and plenty of highchairs.

Taybarns is a whole new eating experience in the ‘all you can eat’ catergory. This resteraunt opened last year and is situated on the roundabout by the large Asda store in Llansamlet. If you are on a budget and want to eat out then this is a good place to visit. Basically you pay a price on entry(around the £7 mark) and then stay and eat as much as you want. On offer is a range of freshly cooked foods ranging from salads, chinese, sunday roasts, burgers and plenty of other foods. If you purchase a coke on the way in you get a glass which can be refilled again and again. This venue is always busy due to its nature and whilst is good in theory its hygene standards do tend to slip due to the large numbers of people eating here. If you dont like buffet style food or are looking for a fine dining experience then this isnt for you, But if you are looking for somewhere cheap to take the kids then this is the place.
