This place is great. A goo old fashioned dive bar styled place. Taunton has a few pins and bars which are mostly all the same. Henry’s has a good juke box, and a good selection of drinks. I think it’s fairly expensive compared to other pubs, but I’ll pay the extra just to not be in a pub full of idiots and chavvy types.
Henry’s isn’t for everyone, you get the alternative types in the evenings on a weekend. But I like it. There’s pool tables upstairs, and they do offer food. I’ve not eaten there myself, looks like café stuff. It’s full of old people in the day time.
The bar staff are great, always friendly.
